Totally In Love

With this outfit from Anthro...

Big Apple

If you have read my blog for very long you know of my deep love of all things NYC. I could not think of a better NYC home to feature than the home of Bob and Courtney Novogratz (courtesy of Apartment Therapy). I know we have all seen this house over and over again but it's still fabulous.

Cannot Wait

Why Do I Do This To Myself?

I am speaking of the run I am about to endure. I know it's so my butt will look more like this. By the way, I am totally going back to no dairy ASAP. Hope everyone had a happy Monday.

King Cakes & Esplanades

How We Live

pic from Apartment Therapy

Since this is the week approaching Independence Day on this side of the pond, I decided to devote this week to American interior design. We have such a vast country that is so amazing different from one city tot he next that I thought this would be fun. So this week is all about how we as Americans live.

Martha Stewart Cooking School: Pasta Marinara

So I bet you guys had forgotten by quest to cook my way through Martha Stewart's Cooking School. If you did forget you are not alone because I forgot too. It dawned on me this week that it has been months since I cooked anything out of that cookbook. I decided to change that.

I have always wanted to make my own red sauce. A good one. I decided a good place to start was Martha's Marinara Recipe.

And here's the finished product. It was super easy with just tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. It was delicious too.

Happy Weekend!

Wandering Weekend

As for this week I decided to tame down my favorites and chose just a few things I loved this week.

I chose to feature Erin at Dandelion & Grey. I have followed her blog for months and I love her style. I was so drawn to the this gorgeous image on her blog this week. Isn't she amazing?

Also check out these bloggers that rocked my world this week...

Also, did anyone not love this video at J.Crew this week? Hop on over and check it out.

I also have a love for these Kate Spade Bangles. The first hand in hand bangle benefits women in war torn countries and carries a beautiful message. I also love the idiom bangles with these adorable sayings.

I am in need of some peace and harmony right now. I find myself wanting to clean out, clean up and enjoy the peace and quiet around me. I am really into sitting and reading, taking walks and eating at home with husband. Anyone else with me?

I wish you all a wonderful relaxing and wonderful weekend.
