Spooky

I will admit Chris and I are totally boring when it comes to Halloween decorating. We usually stick to pumpkins on the porch and some mild autumn decorating inside. I hope we will step it up when we have a little one but nevertheless, I love these ideas.

Eggs and Bunnies

Martha Stewart's Living Spring/ Easter Issue was adorable. I absolutely fell in love with these eggs and I can't wait to make some of my own. I generally don't really decorate for Easter aside from putting out my ceramic bunny but I love these...

I also loved these jars of Easter Candy. What a fun gift.

I love these other ideas from this issue and from years past.

Do you decorate for Easter?

Last Minute To Do List

Well tomorrow is a busy day and sadly I have a horrible sinus infection. Nevertheless, Christmas waits for no one so I will be up early to get all of this done. Hope your December 23 is lovely. While I do have lots of posts scheduled, Chris and I are going to be busy over the holiday and then we are heading to NYC for a short vacation. I will be back next week. I wish you all a very happy holiday!

I love you girls!

Christmas Cards

I was so bored with the selection of Christmas cards this year. Well actually I really liked some expensive cards but since I didn't want to spend a lot of money on things that most people throw away I decided to design my own simple Christmas card and here they are...

I created this really simple design on my computer, had then printed at FedEx and bought coordinating green envelopes. I wish I had a good printer to send them to but I don't know of one in my area and I am not fancy enough to have a relationship with one. Do any of you have a good printer you use?

Anyway, here they are in all of their simplistic glory!

Third Times a Charm

So after redecorating my Christmas tree three times I am finally back to my original white and silver color scheme. My mom made me an adorable tree skirt using some white and mint fabric.

I also made a bulletin board with left over fabric for our Christmas cards.

We are ready to go for the holiday season! I hope your holiday decorating is going great.

Christmas Decor Revealed

The majority of my Christmas decorating is complete. Here's a look.

The Wreath. My sister and I made this wreath. Well I designed it and she actually made it. I mixed lots of old ornaments and came up with this combo of matte gold, silver, purple, green, brown and white. The wreath turned out so gorgeous that I decided to change my original silver and white color scheme to match the wreath.

The Centerpieces. I filled a white platter with snow filler and then topped it with a candle and extra ornaments. Then I filled my mercury glass hurricane with extra ornaments. For my kitchen I filled a glass canister with cookie cutters and white ornaments. I paired the canister with an oversized mercury glass ornament and small Kate Spade votive.

Wall Hanging. I spray painted this old frame white. I removed the inside of the frame. I then tied small ornaments creating this little swag and hung it inside the frame. So cute!

The Tree. This is still a work in progress because my mom is making my tree skirt. I used clusters of ornaments to decorate the tree and then supplemented with my favorite mercury glass ornaments.
